Hi,
My brother’s wife is having a baby soon! I am going to be an uncle, and I am excited because I am going to read to her and help her learn to read. Does anyone have suggestions on what books are good to read to newborns, even if they don’t understand? Even if she doesn’t understand, I want to read to her a lot so she gets used to reading and learning new words, etc. Is there a good list of books or kind of a curriculum for reading to new children. Also, does any one recommend any good programs for teaching reading, such as phonics programs etc?
