Books resources appropriate for 8th Graders on Moral Issues

Does anyone have any experience teaching 8th Graders on the primary moral teachings of the Church, particularly abortion, contraception, just war, bioethics, etc?

I am interested in pulling together some references of books, videos, pamphlets.

I am especially interested in materials that teach the principles in ways that are memorable to teens.

Step 1: Contact your diocese regarding their **policies **pertaining to teaching sexuality and chastity topics. They will have guidelines regarding **age appropriate information **, and also what **parental permissions **are needed. You mentioned abortion, bioethics and contraception, and these items fall under sexuality/chastity topics.

Step 2: Also obtain from your diocese **approved **curriculum (books, DVDs, resources, etc) on morality, chastity and sexuality for the 8th grade level.

Step 3: Meet with your pastor and discuss your plans.

Step 4: If approved by your pastor, inform parents of your plans.
