Howdy all,
I found a book in my family’s house, published in 2007, called Spiritual Progress: Becoming the Christian You Want to Be by Thomas D. Williams. He’s a Catholic priest and a consultant for NBC. Most mainline news sources aren’t really known for hiring orthodox Catholic commentators, so I don’t necessarily take that as a positive mark for him.
But does anybody know this book? My mom wants to read it and I want to know whether it should be recommended or not. I have a lot of better books in queue after I finish Matthew Kelly’s Rediscovering Catholicism (which is excellent and I’m confident to say so, ~300 pages in).
