Interesting book. When Mack first gets to the Shack and meets God, I had to choke back the tears after the horrific loss of his little girl.
As a devoted Catholic, the errors bothered me a little, but certainly not enough to bother my faith at all. I do feel sad though, that had it been written in better keeping with the doctrine of our Lord’s Church, that we could have had another Jesus Christ Super Star on our hands. [maybe a bit of a stretch but it would have made for a GREAT book]
Many thought JCSS was terrible until they saw how many people became Christians after it.
Still, I think the book has something to offer if you can "take what you need and leave the rest, which I have. I am not sorry I read it.
