Born Again or Forgiven Sins?

When we are baptised, are we “born again” or do we have all of our sins forgiven, and we are brought into the life of grace?

That depends on what you mean by “born again.” If you mean it in the way that Protestants tend to say it – that is, in the “once saved always saved” Protestant context, in which they understand justification to imply that faith alone saves (and does so without the possibility of loss of salvation) then the answer is “no”.

If you mean it as Jesus said it, in the Gospels, as “being born from above”, then “yes”.
