Can you please pray for my boyfriend’s grandmother? She entered her final rest yesterday afternoon, after battling pancreatic and breast cancer since her diagnosis two months ago. Mercifully, I was at their house at the time, making dinner, so they didn’t have to worry about that, and I was so glad to be there for them. The grandmother lived at home with them for quite a while, so it is very different to not have her around the house anymore.
Mercifully, she died before the cancer became too painful–and we’re all very grateful for that. I still am kinda in shock…knowing she’s not there anymore. I imagine the adjustment is a lot harder for the family. They also take great comfort in the knowledge that she is in heaven, with St. Paul, whom she really admired.
The funeral will probably be on Thursday, a Presbyterian service at their church.
Prayers for the family’s healing, please.
(I just hope that I can continue be of help to them)
Thank you ever so much.
