My boyfriend is having surgery on his ankle on Friday. All should go well, but he’ll be off his feet for 8 weeks or thereabouts and it’s going to be hard for him. Please pray that the surgery goes exceedingly well and that he can heal quickly. Thank you, all! God bless!

O Lord Jesus, please have mercy on this Your friend and his family and friends as he goes through surgery. Amen. 🙂

Praying for your boyfriend, for his Parents and family, for you and his teachers. Also praying that the Master Physician help, guide, and give the “ability” to the human doctors to perform the surgery. May your boyfriend heal rapidly and know that Our Lord loves him.

Loving Father, I entrust myself to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around me. You and your boyfriend have my sympathy and prayers that his surgery and recovery are successful.

I’ve broken both my feet in just a over a year. I have an idea how much patience you and he will need to practice while he recovers.

Your boyfriend will probably need to eat nutritionally dense foods, not high calorie ones while he recovers so that he doesn’t gain too much weight. I was able to keep my weight down, but it took months to regain the muscle loss in my leg. Not gaining weight helped me when I had to get back up and at 'em when I was released to use it again.

So, the surgery went well enough, but he’s in a ton of pain - they had to do a lot to him to fix it. He’s on the max dose of pain pills, even though he doesn’t want to be, and it still really hurts him. Please pray that the pain recedes and that he can sleep better, and that the pills don’t hurt him. Thank you so so much, guys, your prayers mean everything!
