My cousin via marriage (Joel) was just readmitted to the hospital following brain surgery. He has a severe infection and is in critical condition. Asking for prayers for him and his wife. Thank You and God Bless You!
 
Prayer for the sick

Lord, look upon Joel with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon him, may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

Father, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realise that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world.
 
God may Joel and his family enjoy the flush of your Love as they experience changes. May they be comforted in joy as they experience any and all changes. If it be your Holy Will, cure Joel. Thank you.

Praying for Joel, praying for the great wisdom of all physicians and nurses. Praying for the hand of God to remove the infection.
 
Joel is doing well! His fever broke and he is on the mend. Thanks be to God for Joel’s recovery. Thanks be to all of you for your prayers and your thoughtfulness. Blessings to all! 🙂
