Brain Tumor & Family Estrangement

Please pray for me, I had a brain tumor operated on several months ago at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. I am having symptoms again, and was told this type of tumor may come back.

Special prayer is needed for a deep family heartache. A grown child of ours became particularly interested in how our Will was made out when she heard of my condition.

Since it was not made out as she wished, which we were foolish in discussing anyway, we have become estranged. We no longer see our grandchild. All this is over money and I am heartsick.

Please pray that Our Lord’s Holy Spirit touches her heart, returning her to the faith she was raised in.

My husband and I are so broken over this incident and the increasing serious problems with my health.

Heaven must be a better place, I know–but as a Church Deacon told me “God gives us the will to live”, and I am trying very hard.

Lynnfrances may God bless you honey! “Loving the Lord your God above all things” is not an easy thing to do. I have not been blessed with motherhood, but I am a daughter, a sister a godmother, an aunt and so on, do not let this overwhelm you. Your child is just confused with all the materialism society and the media showers at her every day. Be at peace you did not guide her wrong, she is just sufferring from the same thing most young people are today, let go of the pain for it is not healthy for you, just tell the Lord “thankyou for giving me the opportunity to carry this cross and show you my love”. Meanwhile pray a novena to Saint Monica whom sufferred so much for her own child. The Lord always listens to a mothers’ prayer 🙂

Lord, watch over this family. Grant Lynnfrances strength to endure this trial, and profound faith in Your Divine Will. Comfort her through her heart-ache Lord, and reach out also to her daughter, that she may find it in her heart to rekindle her relationship with her mother. Lord, guide her daughter, in your infinite wisdom, to follow your Will for her only, without love of money or the material belongings of this world. May she see your light, guiding her on her journey, and return to her mother’s loving arms once again.

O Mother of God, our Patroness, continue to protect our small family, our congregation with your Holy Omophorion and under Your holy protection we shall not perish, even if all hell is against us. Amen
