BREAKING NEWS: The occupation of Malula

There are rumours that one of the few Syriac-Speaking cities in the world in Syria has been occupied by terrorist groups.

Jayish Al Nisra has attacked the ancient Christian city and its Churches. Placing its flags on top of the ancient Churches in the great city.

There are also rumours from other sources than the nuns have been kidnapped.

Please pray that this is just a rumour and I will keep you all updated as soon as I here anything else.

Been invaded in September, liberated by the SAA, and now invaded again.
Seems those responsible for protecting it are idiots.
Now the SAA are trying to liberate it, I dunno of the NDF (National Defense Forces) and Hezbollah are helping them.

There’s only so much ‘protection’ that one can do until the true colours of Islam are shown.

The Syrian Civil war is basically an Islamic revival. Not an ‘extremist’ or ‘fundamentalist’ Islamic. But simply Islamic.
 
I saw a friend today who is from Syria and he said that the Muslims had taken 12 women, he didn’t mention whether they were nuns or not. He is an Orthodox Christian.

He has family there and is very concerned for their safety.

According to the reports I’ve seen (here’s one), they were nuns.
 
E-Mail or Call your elected Congressional Reps and Senator. Apparently the US plans on remaining silent and will continue if we don’t speak up.

The rebels kidnapped 12 nuns from the ancient Monastery of St. Thekla. Apparently they were taken by Chechians who came to Syria to join the fight to establish an Islamic state in Syria ruled by Sharia Law. The Monastery of St. Thekla is one of the oldest monasteries in the world. The are being held for ransom. The rebels are demanding the freeing of 1,000 women imprisoned by the Assad regime. The rebels also desecrated both Christian Churches in Malooula, one Greek Orthodox and the other Catholic, I believe that it is Melkite. The rebels kidnapped the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan and the Syriac Orthodox Bishop of Aleppo and killed their driver. The Bishops were on a mercy mission to try to persuade the the rebels to release one or two Maronite Priests they had kidnapped. During August, the rebels tried to assassinate the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch by firing on St. Mary’s Cathedral in Damascus while the clergy were distributing food to the needy. Malooula is one of the few places in the world where they still speak Syriac, a form of Aramaic the language spoke by Christ.

Funding the SFA through the backdoor is a bit more than silence.

I’ve conceded my ancestral homeland is just going to be razed entirely (well, my already has been since the US-funded terrorists took Aleppo as one of the first targets…) 😦 a pity, it was so beautiful and rich in history. Anyway, a land does not make a people… more upsetting is the destruction of the persons themselves.

The key phrase is “US-funded terrorists…” Why is the American government supporting a group of Islamic radicals with strong ties to Al-Qaeda who are persecuting Christians and trying to turn Syria into an Islamic state governed by Sharia Law? Can someone explain to me how it is in our American national interest to help people allied with the radicals who gave us 9/11 and have been killing and maiming American soldiers for 12 years? Has our government gone completely insane? After Syria, Lebanon will be next. Why has the American media practically ignored what is happening there? Had His Holiness, Pope Francis, not publicly called for prayers for them, who in America would know about the nuns kidnapped from the ancient St. Thekla’s Monasery? Ya Raburham. Lord, have mercy.
