Anybody ever had a breech baby who flipped head down on its own late in pregnancy? I am 34 weeks pregnant with my first and my baby is still breech, though its bottom is not engaged in my pelvis. I don’t have a bicornate uterus, and the baby seems to be on the smallish side of normal, with normal amniotic fluid levels. Hoping for reassurance from moms who have experienced this.

I am not a mom but I was a breech baby. My mom had to have a C-section. But this was done about 33 years ago. Medical procedures have come a long way, since then. Do you need prayers? Oh! And I came out completely fine. 😊

Prayers are much appreciated! Ultimately, I want my baby to be born safely. It sure would be nice to avoid abdominal surgery, though!

Yes! Mine was breech until around 34-35 weeks or so. I was so nervous, I did all these ridiculous exercises and I don’t think it made any difference. One day, I just felt him turn.

I’ve been doing all kinds of silly positions too. Not sure if anything is actually working. I’m also seeing a chiropractor. Hoping this baby decides to flip because I am struggling with anxiety while I wait.

Babies can change position frequently until about 36 weeks. If the baby is still breech at 36 weeks then I would check to see what your provider recommends. Sometimes they may attempt to turn the baby externally after that time, but that’s a discussion to have with your provider.
