The only night version I can find is based off king James. Any help would be appreciated

Benjamin, if you go to amazon.com and type “Catholic Breviary” into the search box, you’ll find pages and pages of new and used versions. I also checked my local library (I’m in the U.S.) online and they have two Catholic breviary e-books available for download through freading.com. I’ve never used that service, so I don’t know if there’s a cost or not…the title of the service seems to imply there’s no cost to library members, though.

I’m hoping others will join in this discussion with reviews of specific breviaries. Best wishes to you on your prayer journey, BenjaminJ!

I answered in the other thread. It depends on which Office you want to pray.

Roman pre-Vatican II
Monastic pre-Vatican II
Monastic post-Vatican II (same psalm schema but incorporating changes to the liturgical year, monastic calendar, same collects as LOTH, etc.)

The Liturgy of the Hours already has all that is needed: the Office of Readings is intended to be said at any time but is inspired from the Night Office and can be used as such.
