If female religious (nuns, sisters) are referred to as being wedded to Christ, and if priests are referred to as being married to the Church, what do we say of unordained male religious (brothers)?

I was under the impression that, in comparison with Almighty God, every human soul is “feminine” (GASP I mean in that it is receptive to God), and, therefore, we are all wedded to Christ. Priests and religious are simply living it out in a more tangible way.
