Can anyone here tell mew waht a bridge church is? is it a Christian church or some kind of new age stuff? Thanks in advance for any info.

You will have to give more information. After a quick google search I found a baptist church and several “contemporary” churches.

Imagine a river. On one side of the river there are extreme protestant faiths such as fundamentalism and on the other side there is the Catholic faith. A bridge church is a faith which contains elements of both strands of Christianity. The bridge church links both styles of christianity within one community.
The only bridge church I know of is the Episcopalian/Anglican Communion. Within this denomination you have many different typologies of Christianity; there is the so-called “anglican catholic” movement and there is also an evangelical strand.
A bridge church is basically a mixture of different schools of christian thought all under the same banner. A bridge church is neither this or that; it is both.

I do not know but a friend of mine has a poster hanging over her workstation. It reads: Bridge-builder required, tools and equipment provided’. The tool is a hammer, the materials to build the bridge is three nails!

Contemporary Christian church. Non-traditional, Non-Catholic Christian Church. They would probably call themselves Non-denominational as they do not specify any specific denomination on their website.

If it’s anything like this one, it’s a rock band that will usually play a secular song to start the “service” followed by a happy clappy song or two, then a slower, more contemplative song, then a canned sermon. I’m in Indiana, and my friend in Georgia got the exact same postcard in the mail about an upcoming sermon series a couple years ago that this place mailed out about a year ago. You can order the whole thing online - post cards, sermon notes, PowerPoint graphics, clip art, etc…
My husband was involved there, running the sound board, prior to our becoming Catholic. I was already Catholic-at-heart at that point so it just made me ill. I witnessed “communion” there one time - Wheat Thins that you pulled off a tray and dipped in a plastic goblet of grape juice.
Oh, on edit: I emailed the “lead teacher” there once asking for clarification on certain points of doctrine, trying to pin down what they believed. His response was basically we can all just love Jesus and believe whatever we think the Bible is saying to us individually.
