After Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg ruled the documents cannot remain sealed until the full court decides whether to review a sexual abuse case, Bridgeport diocese has filed papers asking Justice Antonin Scalia to reconsider its request.

On Friday, attorneys for Diocese of Bridgeport asked that Scalia, a Catholic, reconsider its request to continue a stay on the release of the papers, Associated Press reports.

“The appeal to the court’s most stridently Catholic member, whose son is a priest, smacks of desperation and favoritism,” said David Clohessy, national director of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

“Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests”?

Oh. SNAP.

I know nothing of this situation but it is obvious Mr Clohessy does not like Judge Scalia; ‘stridently catholic’ w/ a ‘son priest’.
