That’s what I’m wondering. So far, the reviews I’ve read say that there is a lot of “conjecture” about her collapse. But to me, the important stuff are the relationships that were happening behind the scenes, documented thanks to the Empire Journal. I was hoping he’d cite from the paperwork the Journal was able to dig up, as well as the information linking all these people (Greer, Schiavo, Felos, the sheriff, etc. etc.) together. To me that proves collusion and there should be enough evidence for an indictment?
I would let Michael walk in a second if we could clean up the rest of the rot. He might hurt one more person. But the fetid system which aided and abetted Greer can do damage to who knows how many people for years. That their little operation got away with it, so far, will only make them more arrogant.

Demoralizes the good people of that area of Florida too. Some will think, “Only suckers play by the rules. Look what Greer and his cronies got away with right in front of everyone”

Bush said Thursday that he had talked to Dr. Jon Thogmartin, the Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner, a day before Thogmartin publicly released the results of his autopsy on Terri Schiavo, who died on March 31 after a protracted legal and political battle.

Bush said Thogmartin told him he had gained access to information suggesting that there was a 70-minute delay between when Michael Schiavo first heard a ‘‘bump’’ in the early morning hours of Feb. 25, 1990 and when he eventually called 911.

‘‘I have not seen or heard of this information before that there’s some doubt about when she did collapse and how long it took for a phone call to be made,’’ Bush told reporters. ``That is I think, worthy of some investigation.’’

I just got this one and skipped around through it. Unfortunately, Mark Furhman doesn’t seem to go into the positively incestuous relationships between all the participants in this terrible event. (If he does, it’s very brief, because I’m not seeing it.)

Just reading the little bit that I did, my first reaction was to wonder if the testimony from earlier procedings was ever brought into the later ones.

It seems to me that if the hearing on the custodial issue had included previous statements, the whole issue of custody may have been settled quite differently.

The differences between his testimonies was strikingly, impossibly different. And why did no one seem to notice the 40-70 minute delay between the discovery and the 911 call?

So, that’s my first reaction - that this might never have happened, if only Terri had had genuine representation for HER interests in the courts.

I knew that this would hurt. 😦 I think I’ll put off reading any more of it until tomorrow. It’s always easier to get bad news in the daylight.

Furhman does state that carotid compression (a choke-hold - momofone may have been onto something) may have been the mechanism of death. He describes how hard it is to find evidence even on a freshly-choked victim and how seldom it’s recognized in the ER. Mary Schindler apparently saw Michael apply this choke-hold to his brother once, so he clearly knew about its uses.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that this book is going to result in an investigation, much less a trial. I don’t think that there’s the same level of compelling evidence in this book as there was in the book he wrote about Michael Skakel’s case. He does ask some very persistent questions and explains well how the investigation should have been handled in order to get the most information possible from the husband - “the usual suspect” who was never held in the least suspicion. 😦

Except that some miracle occur, I believe that Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer and George Felos et al just got away with various kinds of murder.

The Empire Journal had learned in March that Dubina and another FDLE agent had stated that if they were served with subpoenas ordering them to give the information known to them regarding alleged corruption and collusion in the Schiavo case, including alleged obstruction attempts by McCabe, that they would inform the court about the order from their superiors and allegedly McCabe stifling their attempted investigation in 2003. According to informed sources, Dubina had reportedly given a statement about the case to Schindler family attorneys but reportedly the document was not presented to the court.

If such information of alleged criminal activity and governmental cover-up including the alleged obstruction by McCabe was presented by credible law enforcement officials to Gov. Bush, it could be sufficient for Bush to immediately empanel a state Grand Jury to investigate officials in Pinellas County and the Schiavo case.

According to reports obtained by The Empire Journal, Dubina has already determined that there is sufficient probable cause that crimes have been committed in the Schiavo case. Such new evidence and evidence of a suspected cover-up could be sufficient for the Governor to ask the U.S. Department of Justice to intervene in the case.

Lisa:

Wherever you take this, the BEST chance is with a grand jury investigating the charge that these relationships were all for the purposes of committing or furthering a Criminal Enterprise - This is the RICO Statue or some variant which would allow the prosecutor and his/her investigators access to ALL of the legal notes and papers of George Felos and George Greer relating to this case and any communications of any kind with Michael Schiavo or with each other and with Dr. Cranford or any of the other Dr.'s and Medical Personnel who looked at or cared for Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

Using the Legal Theory that all the relationahips that were entered into by any of he parties involved in the death otf Terri Schiavo were entered into by the parties for the purpose of committing a crime or furthering of concealing a criminal activity (That is murdering Terri, coming up with a legally acceptable excuse and hiding the evidence of Michael’s Assault and his Perjury) is the best hope for getting all the corrupt people involved in murdering Terri Schiavo.

Since that the Legal Statute is a Federal Statute, that will require a FEDERAL PRESECUTOR and a FEDERAL GRAND JURY. This will make it much harder for the house of corruption protecting Michael Schiavo to stand.

I think it might be a good idea to remind all of the corrupt players that there is a God and a judgment, and that He already knows what they have done and the full extent of their involvement.

In the Eternal Sceme of things, even if we think we’ve gotten away with the murder in this life, we will be punished for it in the next, and the next life means eternity which means the punishment is eternal damnation.

They can avoid that by confessing what they’ve done to both a priest (in the Sacrament of Reconciliation) and to Law Enforcment and in a Court of Law (taking the Criminal Penalty Society assigns to “Conspiracy to Commit Murder”).

That Punishment, even if it is for LIFE, ends, but the ETERNAL punishment NEVER ENDS!

I wish all murderers and violent criminals understood that. The Good Lord does not want to throw even them into hell and is saddened to have to do so.

In Christ, Michael
