I am not sure what you are asking about. There are already a decent number of married priests and I see no problem with that. It is certainly not the norm, but when exceptions are warranted they can and have been made.
I don’t understand the situation. Do you mean that he is in favor of a married priesthood as the norm? Or is this about a specific married priest? Certainly, we should support all our priests, married or not.
