British judge throws out case against Mormons

Apparently Phillips isnt going to let this go, however.

I dont have any problem with him doing what he thinks he needs to, but it’s not a course of action I would pursue personally

One of the things Phillips was trying to claim was fraud was the Mormon Church teaching that Adam and Eve were literal people and that death didn’t occur prior to 6,000 years ago. There are an awful lot of churches and Christians who believe such things. How could any court rule against the Mormon Church in this case – next up would be belief in the virginity of Mary or the resurrection. That would be a very slippery slope.
 
From his POV, he was trying to show fraud.

Not sure how he can do that and leave beliefs out.
