Broken Crucifix

I was cleaning my room some time back and I had by accident knocked down my crucifix and it was broken beyond repair. What would be the proper thing to do with it? I want to make sure that I treat all Sacramentals with due respect. Thanks and God bless.

If beyond repair, it is correct to burn or bury the sacremental.
