Broken Saint Medal

Recently I was messing around with my St. Augustine medal and it broke off of the chain. I got it back on but I was wondering if I need to get it blessed now or something.

It is nice to have medals blessed, but, it is not required.

If the medal was already blessed, repair does not “unbless” the medal.
 
Thanks! I’m pretty scrupulous so I haven’t been wearin it but I’d like to have the peace of mind to put it convince myself to wear it again!
 
Actually what’s crazy is that I’m not even sure it was ever blesssd at all- it was a gift from my sisters boyfriend for my Confirmation
 
That being the case, have it blessed. Just to be sure.
 
At every Confirmation I have attended, the Bishop does a general blessing for all of the gifts
