My brother ahs to work his alst day of work thsi saturday, when we wee going to go to mass for Vigial, because on sunday morning, we leave for Cedar Point. is this a valdid reason fro my brother to miss mass, and if not, shound I still go along with them on the trip to Cedar point after having gone to saturday evening mass (not going on the trip would make a statement of my feelings()

Sounds like a brother and sister spat with Christ as the bargaining chip. Ultimately its your brother’s sin (if there is one here as I only have your side of the story) not yours. Pray for his conversion and leave it at that. Why go to war and disrupt the peace in your family to prove your point? What really are you trying to gain? You are right. Your brother should find a way to go to mass. There, you have an objective third party validating your position. Now go in peace with your family.

Does your brother put Christ first in his life allways or just when it is convienent? I think you answered that question too yourself.

I put Christ first - ALLWAYS.

Don’t miss a family outing if you’ve already done the right thing & gone to mass yourself. Your brother’s sin is his business. Maybe you could talk about it with him while you are waiting in line for the Gemini??? He’d have to listen to you… being stuck in line & all…

I’ve already talked to him about it in detail, but he si convinced its not a sin.

Does my brother put Christ first? Well, I am not in his head, I can say je os a :obera; Catholic, if you could call one that. He sedoes not agree witht he pope on everything…
