ThankingHim

Guest
Please send your prayers for my dear friend Kim who has dedicated his life to serving Christ in West Africa. He has spent the last 4 summers in Ghana in the refugee camps, this year he felt God was calling him to go to Ghana for the year, so he quit his job as a teacher, stored his car, and gave away any “things” he owned. He is a missionary in Ghana spreading the Word in refugee camps and taking care of the widows and orphans. Just got word that he has been hit hard with Typhoid Fever. The UN has pulled out of the camps so medical care is not happening. If he was here in the US, we would treat him with anti-biotics . . .about 20% of the 600,000 people in third world countries that get typhoid fever annually die. PLEASE PRAY.

Thank You

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

May the healing power of Christ cover him and return him to full health.

Jesus, through Mary, Your Mother and ours, I ask this of You who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever.
Amen

Thank you all for your prayers.

Communication from Africa is difficult, they are in a remote location, so I’m waiting for news, waiting and worrying. I was feeling useless, as though I’m not doing enough, as though I should be able to do “more” for Kim. I felt like praying wasn’t enough. Your prayers have inspired me to keep praying, , ,I can feel the power of your faith in your words and prayers.
Thank You Lord Jesus for the friends you have shown me here. Your tenderness and love shines through their willingness to pray for our brother Kim. We are lifting Kim up to You in prayer Lord, if it is Your will Lord, cure him of this fever that is ravaging him. All glory and honor is Yours! Amen

Praying for a total and complete recovery from Typhoid in Jesus precious name.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Just got word, Kim also has Malaria. The good news is that he was moved to Accra, which is the capital of Ghana and is getting medical treatment in a hospital.

God Bless you all.

Margaret

Praise God!

Our brother Kim has turned the corner towards recovery of his bout with Typhoid Fever!!! He does not have malaria either, just a nasty intestinal parasite. He is staying in Africa and plans on continuing to spread God’s Word after some rest. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I am in constant awe and thanksgiving of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
