Brother Jay is in hospital and not doing well

For all of you who remember my dear and holy friend Brother Jay Rivera, please redouble your prayers for him and the brothers with him at Franciscans for Life as he is now in the hospital and I’m told is not doing well. He has had many health issues and for a while seemed better…

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
 
Praying for him… he always provided great wisdom on these forums…

I also miss your posts as well.

Thank you for coming back and sharing this. I was thinking of Brother Jay just the other day and wondering how he was doing. I will keep him and his brothers in prayer.

I really wish CAF would consolidate his threads and responses into a pdf for people. I was thinking of doing that before the old version went away (it was way easier) but never got around to it. So much invaluable information there.

Praying for Brother JR. There are updates on Franciscans For Life website also. And before he became ill, Brother wrote many of the articles.
 
Keeping him in my prayers. He’s always been such a good example of faith and kindness.
