Hi everyone,

My brother asked me to get a prayer request out there for the pain level he’s dealing with, having broken his leg (badly) about a month ago. He’s suffering quite badly.

Please also pray that he will have the self-control to stop smoking. His doctors have told him to stop, and he knows he needs to (if he wants his leg to heal anytime soon), but he lacks the self-control. Thank you all so much 🙂

Prayers said for relief of pain from broken leg. I hope he has talked to his Dr about this pain
if he is suffering so.

Prayers also said for self control to quit smoking and may God take away his desire to smoke as well.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother

Holy Mother, please intercede for us.

Through the grace of your purity, pray for us that this unclean habit will cease.
From the stench of smoke, the foul taste in our mouths, the stains on our hands and teeth, pray for us.
From coughing and phlegm, from polluted blood, from heart and lung disease, pray for us.
From habit and slavery, pray for us.
From tension, fear, and anxiety, pray for us.
For health and calm and peace, pray for us.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that, by Christ redeemed, we choose to live in purity.
