My Brown Scapular is becoming really faded and kinda comming apart… If the white patches with St. Simon and the Eternal promise on the back fall off do I have to get a new one and get it re-blessed??
If you were already enrolled in the Brown Scapular, all you need to do is purchase a new one. It does not need a new blessing. You should burn or bury the one that is falling apart. If you decide to get a Scapular Medal instead of a cloth scapular, you need to get the medal blessed by your priest.
