Would it be ok to take off brown scapular during football because of destroying it and falling off

Yes, sometimes I take off my Tau cross because it gets in the way when I play with my little one.

Remember that the scapular is a sign of your devotion. The saying that “those who die wearing this…” means that the person has devoted his life to the Blessed Virgin, not that the person is necessarily physically wearing the scapular at every moment.
Also, it probably isn’t wise to wear anything around your neck when playing a contact sport.

What kind of football?

If you’re talking American, I know of people who have athletic-taped the scapular onto their shoulder pads so they’re still wearing it, or wired a Miraculous Medal into their helmet in a non-irritating way.

If we’re talking the sport properly called soccer 🙃🙃🙃, then, if your leauge allows it, you could wear a scapular medal/miraculous medal around your neck, or, like in American football, athletic tape a scapular or medal onto a shin guard or something similar.
