Buddha and Jesus both born of Virgins

Well, this has been a few years back. He was a good driver and I gave him a nice tip.
 
Paul did not and could not see a vision of Jesus, as Jesus was very much alive and had gone to India to complete his mission as assigned by GodAllahYHWH to him. Jesus was one of the most obedient servant of GodAllahYHWH as mentioned in Quran, in my opinion.

Yes, the Holy Scriptures, written under Divine Inspiration, tells us that Jesus appeared and spoke to Saul/Paul. I quoted the relevant Scripture texts above. St. Luke recorded the Book of Acts under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

The Qur’an is not Divinely Inspired, and so the claims about Jesus in the Qur’an are a mixture of truth and falsehood, and so is unreliable for accurate information on Jesus.

Also, the Ahmadi Muslim claims that Jesus physically traveled to India, lived up to an old age, died a natural death, and is buried in Kashmir, is falsehood and unreliable information. Whoever is buried in that tomb is not the Lord Jesus Christ.
It might have been Paul’s imagination, therefore, that he had seen Jesus in a vision, Paul did not see it, in my opinion.

Saul/Paul had the vision, and that’s what converted him. If Jesus had not appeared to him, then he might never have converted to Christianity, and might have persecuted more and more Christians. Jesus appeared to him and led him to Ananias to baptize him.

OK, if I accept what you say is true, that Paul misunderstood Jesus, and so too did all the other Apostles, then how do you know what the teachings of Jesus were, and what his aims were here on earth ??

Do you have proof Jesus actually wrote down his teachings, and carried them to India??

If so, please cite your source

I stated in my thread what ahmadi muslims believe regarding Jesus and compaired it to mainstream islam. They contradict each other.

**So like I said, islam changes Biblical historical facts about Christs life, ahmandi muslims come into the picture in the 19th centurty with more outrages changes… **:eek:

You may visit the place before the word spreads and there is a rush. You would visit a good place and see his tomb. No compulsion however.

Ditto my friend. Its amazing how gullible people can be and fall prey to jibber-jabbers of other religions they hardly know about. Just because some ‘academic’ wrote something on a subject doesn’t mean his/her opinions are always correct. Even academics can be bias and sometimes contribute more nonsense than the average Joe on the street. Talk about a carrot-on-a-stick. :rolleyes:

The quote by Thomas Maurice was written in 1798. It was probably around the same time the word buddho was translated as enlightened when the word means awake. The Buddha means the one who is awake.

The entries on Buddhism and Hinduism in the New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia are also full of error and bias. The entry on Hinduism is so bad as to be embarrassing. Both were written in 1910. One would think that an online encyclopedia would be updated occasionally.
