HiWho revealed the path to Buddah?
The Buddha rediscovered the path. The path is part of the universe and is there to be discovered by anyone who searches diligently enough.Who revealed the path to Buddah?
In this thread, the above is the most accurate rendering of Buddhism.Buddhism is a way of life which is not based upon the concept of a Creator God. It does not believe that God (or gods, depending on your religion) , is responsible for creation, salvation or judgment.
My husband and his family practise Buddhism according to the Shingon school of Buddhism. According to Shingon, enlightenment is possible within this life. This belief is based on the spiritual potential of every living being called Buddha-nature. The Dalai Lama, sees the Buddha Nature as the “original clear light of mind" but it doesn’t really exist as it is Emptiness. Some people see it as a metaphor for the potential of all humans to achieve Buddha status.
Shingon venerates 13 Buddhas and Bodhisattvas altogether, for example Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha (personification of compasssion) Jizo etc. Mahavairocana (also called Vairocana which means brilliant and luminous ) is the Universal Principle which underlies all Buddhist teachings. Vairocana is seen as the embodiment of the Buddhist concept of shunyata or Emptiness and is seen as a personification of Wisdom.
I’m not sure if this is making any sense. So to get back to your question, no my husband doesn’t worship God in the Christain sense but he doesn’t deny His existance either.
There is a load of information about Buddhism in the net and I am sure you will find a better description than I can give you.

HiPaarsurvey,
I’m not sure why you choose to post in purple and all in a block rather than in black and broken up into paragraphs. It is certainly extremely difficult to read as it stands.

Buddhism is not a Abrahamic religion and does not rely on revelation.

It is not “theistic.”
If you do net searches, best to ignore the hodgepodging that claims “it is what I say/belive it is.”
No. Buddhists worship nothing.but Buddhists worship Buddhist, don’t they?
Ha ha ha haNo. Buddhists worship nothing.
So, if Buddha believes in Hell and Heaven, what did he know about re-incarnation? and what Buddhists believe in Hell/Heaven?I have already stated that the Buddha also believes in the existence of the Devil, so he also believes in hell and heaven, in angels and in the Day of Judgment.
Thanks
