Dear friends,

Thank you for your prayers in the past. Lately I have been feeling truly burned out in my line of work. I love what I do, but I am so tired every day and sometimes work 7 days a week. I am exhausted. I am not sure exactly what to pray for, or how exactly to make it better yet. The month of May is already booked completely and I am not looking forward to it…Please pray for me, my feelings of being burned out, and that I can feel rejuvenated in my work…

Prayer to St. Joseph:

Joseph, by the work of your hands
and the sweat of your brow,
you supported Jesus and Mary,
and had the Son of God as your fellow worker.

Teach me to work as you did,
with patience and perseverance, for God and
for those whom God has given me to support.
Teach me to see in my fellow workers
the Christ who desires to be in them,
that I may always be charitable and forbearing
towards all.

Grant me to look upon work
with the eyes of faith,
so that I shall recognize in it
my share in God’s own creative activity
and in Christ’s work of our redemption,

My dear Jesus, you know this situation and understand the stress and frustration within this soul…please guide and direct this soul to follow whatever is Your most perfect will. This soul is so weary and needs an encouraging and helpful guide to manage through the next month…please my Lord be present in his life in ways only YOU can do to assure him of Your presence and guiding light in his life I humbly pray, amen.

Pace yourself, take rest breaks, eat healthy, take a 30 minute walk, call a friend, take time to pray. Hire an assistant? I used to be a workaholic. I will be praying for you.
