Burning Incense

[Princess2]

I am a new Catholic and I would like to find out if burning three kings incense in my home is good ? I would like to burn it in my home to cleanse away negative energy.

I think this question would be better addressed in the Catholic Living forum. Welcome to CAF!

I like burning incense it reminds me of Mass.

Although there is nothing wrong with burning incense, as Catholics, we don’t believe it is used to cleanse negative energy. That is kind of new age sounding.

This is true.

It is nice praying the Rosary at home whilst it is burning.

There’s nothing wrong with burning incense, but it doesn’t have magical powers to “cleanse negative energy.” But if you just think it smells nice, sure.
