Can anyone recommend a good place for business cards? I looked at the VistaPrint site, but I don’t care for their quality. I’m looking for something sleek and cool.

I had a friend, who is an artist, design a card for me and then had them printed up. They turned out great. Do you have a design?

This is an EU site, although I know I have seen a similar one here in the states, you might have to do some internet searching, I REALLY like their mini cards. moo.com/en/

ETA: I just saw on their site that they do print and ship in the US!!! They are GREAT cards, really make a statement!!!

Just curious, have you actually seen a vista print business card or just their on-line pictures? I have many Avon friends who use VistaPrint for their cards and they are pretty slick to me. I do prefer the ones I get from the Avon though, they get to actually put real products on the cards as they are licensed to be able to do that.

I’ve seen some of the VistaPrint ones from some of the cards I’ve received from other people. They looked alright, I guess. Nothing really special.

I was kinda in a hurry last night, so I figured I might as well try VistaPrint, but sure enough my misgivings about them were right! I placed an order, then low and behold, a few seconds later, they changed their prices (with a big price difference)!!

I contacted customer service on their little chat box thing, and after I complained, they had a little “glitch” in their system, LOL. Wow, I hope they don’t make unauthorized charges now (as they are known to do). How incredibly annoying! Should’ve just got them at Office Depot.

This is surprising to me because I have used Vista Print for years. The only thing I can think of that made your price go up at checkout like that is what shipping method you chose. I usually choose the longest one and get them within a week. Also, don’t add any of their silly add ons unless you really need them. People pay to have the vista print taken off the back of the card. I see no reason to do that.

I will tell you NEVER use their design company. I wasn’t happy when they partnered up. I had used them before the partnering and had HORRIBLE problems. They have tons of BBB complaints and manipulate the BBB to get them unfounded. I forget the name of that company right now, it’s not Vista print, I know they are out of Salt Lake.

Anyway, did you get to look at the moo site? I LOVE their stuff, it is pricy through 🤷

I was finally able to get in touch with the customer service again. They offered some explanation, then gave me store credit, so I guess it’s ok now.

You’ve used them for years? Have you ever seen unauthorized charges to your card? I am a little apprehensive about that since I’ve read about other people seeing charges on their cards from third party companies affiliated with them. Plus, my dad ordered something online from somewhere else a few months ago, and he keeps seeing these random charges on occasion from different places.

I used PayPal, but I removed my card info just in case.

I was actually considering ordering from Moo before I went to the VistaPrint site last night. I didn’t really have any photos on hand to use for the Moo cards and VistaPrint had that quick template program so I went with them.

I was also looking into social calling cards, but those things are expensive for something so simple, LOL.

I’ll check out 123print.com, buck. Thanks!

I haven’t, although I will tell you where they are getting it from and it is my biggiest (only) complaint about Vistaprint. It is the add things at checkout, that say you can get something free or some subscription to something or take a survey. ALWAYS click NO

If I remember correctly you also have to look for the little NO somewhere on there. Just really make sure you are saying NO

The reason (my guess) that vistaprint is doing these advertisement things is to keep their cost lower, they make money on them everytime someone even clicks on it they make money. Although, as I have written to them a few times, I believe they are losing more customers by using that method than they are getting money from the ads 🤷

I use MOO cards for my business, and I love them. I actually got the mini size so they’re a bit cheaper. And now that they’re in the US it’s cheaper for shipping as well.

I use product photos on the front of my cards (I make and sell pet products) and people always comment on how cool they look. The only thing when using photos, edit the photos so they’re a bit lighter because the MOO cards have a protective coating on them which can tend to make the photos a bit darker.
