What does the Church say about businesses that support anti-Catholic beliefs (ex. LGBTQ inclusivity, ‘pro-choice,’ etc.)?

I just read an article about Target donating to groups that support LGBTQ inclusivity in k12 schools. My husband and I are also planning a trip with our kid to NYC. I’m now thinking about whether or not it is morally right for us to continue to ‘patronize’ Target and NYC (because of the state’s extreme abortion law).

You can still shop in NYC or at Target as long as you have no intent to patronize these agendas. If you wanted to support them, there would be a lot more effective ways of doing it than that. If you want to put pressure on them by removing your business, great, but you have no moral obligation to do so.

Most large companies donate money and support many different groups.
We, as customers, have the will to patronize whatever companies that we choose. 🤸‍♂️
