John 3:3 Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man** be born again**, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Two completely different contexts and concepts. Seeing Heaven and Entering Heaven are completely different.

One can see heaven but not enter it.

I think the point is, clarification is bad. Our beliefs should be simple and explainable in one sentence bursts, taken directly from the bible, no context necessary. (Or, indeed, desired.) Any attempt at formulating a belief system more complex than that is diluting the purity of the Christian message, and ought to be avoided. But I could be wrong.

Wait…that’s after a butt. Which means it’s from the devil. The Devil is the father of Lies, which means it is a lie. If “I could be wrong” is a lie, that means I CAN’T be wrong. I am infallible! Someone tell a council! I’m destined to be Pope! No…I AM THE POPE!

I dont want to butt in here, but are you implying the OP was not Jr High in the post? He butts heads with posters right from the get go. Do I have to stop buying rump roast now? Thats all I want to know now.
