Seriously? on your iPod? Cool!!!
I gots the Bible and other books ready to put on my mp3 player too :angel1: not that it’s anything quite so fancy as an ipod but does the job 🙂

Makes for better and more worthwhile listening than most of the music that’s out there :yup:

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yes.gif And I also have Father Corapi and Scott Hahn, Michael Cumbie, Tim Staples…
and more great converts to the Faith on my iPod. I also have many different Rosaries that I bought on CD (free Rosary CD) and many Catholic CDs that have great classic Catholic hymns and music from Donna Cori Gibson and Tatiana too. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/headsetmusic.gif

But I also have great Gregorian chant on my iPod! http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Pray.gif which always makes me feel prayerful.

Merry http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Jesus.gifmas!!

I think some mp3 players that I’ve seen have some features that are better than an iPod’s features. I saw one on QVC last night (or early this morning) and I liked the wheel feature better on it because it’s lit and it actually turns.

But, you’re right, it does make for better listening. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/headsetmusic.gif

Merry Jesus-mas? :ehh: 😉

And no, my mp3 player is an ultra-cheapy deal I bought on ebay - low capacity and all, but like I said it does the job when I need it to, and the price was brilliant 🙂
:yup: I can imagine about the price because mine was steep in price as it’s the 60gig video one. But right after I bought it, the 80gig one came out. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Shock.gif and for the same price as the 60gig! http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Shakehead.gif Oh well, qué será, será. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Grin.gif

As for audio Rosaries, for some reason I really like the Rosary Army one - www.rosaryarmy.com. Haven’t come across any I’ve liked better.
I have that one too! But I love my other ones with meditations and soft music.

I’ll still pray for him!!! 🙂
BUTT does that mean the end of this thread? I enjoyed it so much!!!
😦
…something to consider… we may have been excessive with the number of "t"s in butttt… and the OP may have responded in a way that forced a mod to remove the post and employ the ban…:hmmm:

on the other hand… this is probably not a site for the thin-skinned (or thin, single sheet TP as the case may be)

😃

THAT’S IT!!! Mt stands for More toilet paper 😃

Me too, usually a number of hours after I digest, I am thankful that you can never have too much TP.

.
Oh you certainly can - I have a friend whose mother hoards the stuff - cupbards full of it! It’s truly scary, and you have to wonder whose gastrically-affected army she’s expecting to troop through her bathroom.

Uh, that’s “bathroom tissue” for those of you in the U.S. I was alarmed to discover, while shopping my local grocery store online and from the comfort of my home, that they do not sell toilet paper! Then I remembered that insidious, vague discription on my last package of toilet paper that said “bathroom tissue”. So, I earnestly typed in “bathroom tissue” and, low and behold, they had some! It looks just like toilet paper, too… :hmmm:

I know. It’s strange, well maybe not “strange” that we call certain items by a different name.

I have several boxes of kleenex in my house but none of them are Kleenex. In fact they are called “facial tissue” and sometimes just “tissue” as in a store brand as I get. But, I still call that “facial tissue” kleenex and it’s not even that brand. “Kleenex” is actually a name brand of “facial tissue.”

Here’s another one. I love jello but I usually don’t have Jell-O. I have store brand “gelatin” instead. But we still call it jello even though it’s “gelatin.”
I do have Jell-O Chocolate pudding though as that is thee best chocolate pudding to have. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yummy.gif

Okay here’s another one. When I get a cut on my finger I put a bandaid on it right? Well I sometimes don’t have Band-aids in my medicine cabinet. But I do have Nexcare “bandages” and Target brand “bandages” too. But these I do call bandages. I just hear many people call them bandaids. But hey, that’s cool. 😃

Can anyone else think of any other items we might have in our kitchen or bathroom that we call by the company or name brand or just call them by another name that the stores call them?

Okay, this is weird :whacky: BUT hey, as long as no one closes this thread, http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/shifty.gif this could be our “break the tension” thread. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yes.gif

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/porcupine.gif Okay, this little guy has nothing to do with my post BUT I thought he was cute so I wanted you to see him.
Okay Whoa, my eyes can’t stand looking at how fast he turns his head so I think I’ll slow him down a wee bit. This won’t take long… http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/porcupineslr.gif There, that’s better.

I guess iPod is becoming a generic term for mp3 player - for example as used in the term ‘podcast’

In Australia we call jello JELLY.
So I guess if I went to australia and wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you’d look at me weird–> :ehh:
(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)
I certainly would not want a “peanut butter and gelatin” sandwich. 😛 Although it doesn’t sound too bad. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Giggle.gif
And the most popular brand of it is AEROPLANE JELLY.
Ooh I’ve never seen gelatin fly. lol
And what Americans call jelly we call JAM
That’s right. That’s one that I did not mention in my name thingy. LOL I myself love “peanut butter and jelly” but I can’t stand “jelly” at all. I love “spreadable fruit” instead. I used to like “jam” but then I tried “Smucker’s Simply 100% Fruit” and it’s great! It has no fructose corn syrup, no corn syrup, no sugar. blehh. Just plain fruit, fruit syrups, juices and Great Taste! http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yummy.gif
This is what I used to like, Strawberry Jam. But now I love Strawberry spreadable fruit.
http://www.arnotts.com.au/downloads/products/product_family_assorted_0a6d_large.jpg Yum! http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yummy.gif Okay, I’m gettin’ a taste for PB&J or some cookies. But since I have no cookies, I would have to settle for some PB&J on my Pepperidge Farm “12 Grain” whole grain bread. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Yummy.gif

When copier first came out: Xerox was it.

So people will say: “Can you “Xerox” this?” or “I need to “Xerox” this”

Now that there is more brands out there people say: I need to “copy” this,” or “can you “copy” this?”

However every once in a while I will hear: “I need to Xerox this…”
