I guess iPod is becoming a generic term for mp3 player - for example as used in the term ‘podcast’
:yup: Yes this is true. Although my 13 year old will not say “there’s an iPod” if it is an mp3 player. I would find myself saying that a lot quicker than my 13 year old will. 😉

When copier first came out: Xerox was it.

So people will say: “Can you “Xerox” this?” or “I need to “Xerox” this”

Now that there is more brands out there people say: I need to “copy” this,” or “can you “copy” this?”

However every once in a while I will hear: “I need to Xerox this…”
Yes that’s a good one. 😃 I too still hear sometimes, “I need to xerox this.”
