“Let us cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” ([2 Corinthians 7:1] Smoking is a defilement of flesh and spirit. Anything that defiles yr flesh and spirit is a sin. Although the law allows u to smoke at a certain age, it doesn’t justify that it is right. The only perfect standard is from God’s Word. The fact that u r asking this question is because u r trying to seek a justification to your own actions when u know very well it isn’t right. 
Smoking causes addiction bcuz of nicotine. It injures ur body toooo. don’t hurt yourself. God is protecting us from harmful thingsss. If u think it is hard to control yourself from smoking, pray to God about it. He cares for you. Ask Him for guidanceeeeeee. I hope u consider what I said carefully with heart. The law does not have more authority than the Word of God. In conclusion, don’t ever smoke. It will ruin yr mood and body which will affect yr day as a whole. I am seriously concernedddd.
