Sorry to see you go. Good bye & God bless. I’ll be praying for you & your family.
For even if we do not “meet” again on CAF, hopefully we will both meet each other someday in Heaven.May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Goodbye Domer. Now that CAF is changing, I decided this is a good time to say goodbye and thank everyone for the dialogue. I realize I simply am not cut out for social media or, as we call it in our family, anti-social media.
I am way too sensitive to criticism, and I have received my fair share from toxic family members, in-laws, strangers, you name it. Here’s kind of how I see things. My son is a mini-version of DH. DH overcame large social skill deficits with my help but is still getting coaching. DS overcame a low-functioning autism diagnosis to what was Aspergers (now since removed in the DSM).
DH and I will be there to guide him, but we are turning some of our recent stress to God. I need to heal from a shattered tibia, so I am trying to stay as positive as I can. However, I have at least 2 surgeries ahead of me, so I have to try to put my injury first (that rarely happens). On my last thread, what I thought was miraculous was met with me sounding boastful. I see where I can’t win. This is one of those places. I will sow my seeds where they will better take root, which (for me) is not social media.
Peace, prayers Godspeed and good-bye.

I totally missed the mods leaving.Wow, it takes huevos to call someone a harpy on the day the Mods leave.
Well played.
I normally follow a bookmark straight to a particular forum. I went to the top level and saw the announcement from July.I totally missed the mods leaving.
I haven’t been diligent posting the past several months. Haven’t see anything interesting, franklky. BUT, I had no idea that the moderation was ending.
Isn’t everything better with moderation? Or is that IN moderation?

I agreeI assure you of my prayers for you and your family.
There is an ever-growing hostility on the Forum which has escaped the control of the moderators. It is very sad and I can hardly blame you for abandoning this ship which gives every impression of being engulfed in flames. It has become an odious and toxic environment.
May the Lord lead you to greener pastures. May you and yours receive healing at His hands.
God bless you.
Farewell!
