Hey all!

Would someone be able to point me in the direction of a site or document that can give me a good run down of the beliefs of those in the Byzantine Rite? And how their Divine Liturgy differs from the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?

TIA!

Start here:
slideshare.net/pcuadra/the-byzantine-catholic-tradition-1871798

Also for recordings you can listen here:
metropolitancantorinstitute.org/RecordedMusic.html

There are some online resources:

cnewa.us/default.aspx?ID=…de=US&pageno=1

The book shown there is available from USCCB.

For Catechism, Light For Life is a set of three books:

There is an Eastern Catholic forum–you might try to post there. I’m sure they will be glad to help.

You know, if Erie is Erie, PA, you’re not far from Pittsburgh. There’s a Ruthenian Seminary there, as well as the seat for our Metropolitan. Also, we’d be happy for you to see the divine liturgy first hand in our Cathedral.
