Annunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Parish in the Chicago area has a radio show/podcast called A Body of Truth done by Fr Thomas J. Loya:

I haven’t listened yet so I don’t know if it is aimed more at those who already ByzCath or want to learn.

Also interesting, thei chart of the history of the development of Latin Catholicism, Eastern Churches & Orthodoxy:

Byw, found this on Sonitus Sanctus blog, very good source for free audio resources.

Father Loya is a major teacher of the Theology of the Body, having been present in Rome listening live to HH John Paul II when he delivered the Wednesday addresses that formed this teaching. In addition to his A Body Of Truth podcasts, he has some excellent longer DVD’s on TOB from a Byzantine perspective. My favorite is one that is 5 or 6 DVDs of his TOB teaching at a retreat in Florida for Eastern and Oriental Catholic clergy. There is a five part TOB teaching Theology of the Body and Marriage Prep. by Fr. Loya on youtube.

I don’t know of any other Byzantine Catholic doing major teaching on TOB. In addition to having the EC perspective, as a trained, working artist Fr Tom brings his knowledge of the manipulation of the mind/eye visually and how that comes into play in our culture, as well as in seeing the true meaning of our bodies. The TOB teachings have had a major impact on me. The Latin Church teachers in general haven’t brought the teachings to life for me. I last about 5 minutes listening to them. Fr Tom I can listen to again and again.

Father Loya’s “Light of the East” is available in the US on EWTN Catholic Radio every Sunday morning at 11:30am Eastern Time. It’s important to let your local affiliate know you want this program, and more like it.
Immaculate Heart Radio, the local “Catholic” radio station for the SF area [also No CA, NV, UT, NM], is asking for (name removed by moderator)ut on a survey about their programming
Please consider taking the survey and making the request for more ECC/OCC programs; remind them that “Catholic” isn’t just the Latin Church…
