I’m really confused. I am a BC but I have always attended a RC mass (no BC parishes around here) , and recieved the sacraments in the Roman Church. I’ve been to Byzantine mass twice and I really enjoyed it. I always thought that Catholic was Catholic and the only difference between the rites was basicly the way mass was celebrated, but after reading some other threads on this website, I get the impression that there are some more differences than that. Are all the doctrines the same? If they aren’t, I can’t possibly see how they would be in communion with Rome. Can somebody please explain the differences between the Churches to me? Thanks.
