She was a 9 year-old Quebec girl kidnapped in July 2007. Her parents were hoping to find her alive, but last December (2015) 3 hunters found what turned out to be Cedrika’s skull in a secluded area not far from her home. There is usually quite a bit of snow in the province of Quebec in December, the mere fact that there was barely any (if any) snow covering the ground made the discovery possible, possibly a miracle in itself. I pray for God’s mighty intervention in this case, there is a suspect, everything points to him but lack of evidence that can be brought before a judge makes it impossible to move forward with accusing the killer and makes it impossible for the family to get closure. For the remainder of Cédrika’s body to be found and for evidence against the killer to be found, I pray. Or for someone close to the killer to come forward and testify against him. I know almost all of you from being a long-time lurker. Your generosity did not disappoint. I know there are a thousand things that require our attention and prayer, but I would ask all of you to maybe just say a 5 second prayer everyday for justice and for closure for Cédrika’s parents. And just posting here everyday or every other day will keep this thread alive and allow more people to add their voices to our petition to God. When this case is finally resolved I know your continued prayers will have been instrumental in bringing justice and closure. Thank you all.
