CAF rosary around the world

Bear with me here. I thought it would be great to have a small rosary or prayer card that we could physically send around CAF members.
For example, I (or somone else) purchase a small blessed rosary ring, and pray a rosary for CAF intentions, then I mail it to someone else on this list, who then prays with it,perhaps takes a photo of themselves with it, or perhaps takes it with them to do something-visit the sick or outside an abortion clinic, or just prays with their family. Then maybe then can send it on to somone else who requests it.
Your address would go to only one person-somone you choose via a PM, so its not as if you would just post your details for all the world to see.
And of course it is optional.
Anyway we could have an ongoing round-the world prayer going on.

I like the idea, but maybe we could send something unique to the area/country in which we live, rather than just a rosary ring?

Even if we don’t, I think it’d be awesome to have pictures from all round the world of Catholics praying in different ways.

LOL, whatever we send, it could end up being a relic one day!!

It’d have to be something small though, think of the postage if it isn’t!

That’s what I figured; just putting in a suggestion

Maybe a prayer card, or a medal. Yeah, it would have to be really light, so it can be sent at the cheapest rate.

I just think it would be cool to touch this object that has been to other CAFers. (How to phrase this without sounding like Noel from Frasier, or a stalker or something)
Like a physical link I suppose.

That is interesting! I’ve done “shared” baby blankets before (knitters/crocheters all add a few rows and give it to the next person, and then in the end when it’s big enough, it goes to a needy family).

What about this for an idea: to send the Rosary ring and a local postcard to the next person? That person gets to keep the postcard and send the ring with a new postcard from their area to the next person.

Maybe you could do a new thread, asking people to post if they want to be ‘in’, and then we go from there (form like a chain of people it will pass to, rather than have it go back and forth across the atlantic!)
