One does not have to claim a belief is doctrine to say amen. Is it not Lutheran to allow personal piety regarding Marian beliefs that are adiaphoron?

Sure. But we both know the RC goes much further than simply “allowing” this doctrine to be believed as faithful piety, going to say that if you dispute this you have shipwrecked your faith.
