No. Cain was born first. Abel was the second son. And they were not from the same pregnancy. (Genesis Ch.4, vs 1&2).
This is exactly where the query arises - no doubt Cain was born first and Abel shortly after and not long after -twinc

I suppose it is possible though whenever one reads of a twin pregnancy elsewhere in Scripture it is specifically mentioned that the two were twins (such as Jacob and Esau), whereas here it is mentioned that Eve conceived and brought forth A son (not “sons” or ‘two sons’) and that ‘afterward’ she brought forth ‘a son’ not ‘the younger twin’ or the ‘second of twins’.

Also when Eve later gives birth to Seth, she mentions that God gave her another son to ‘replace’ Abel. If Cain and Abel had been twins, with Cain being responsible for Abel’s death, it would have seemed more likely that Eve would have another ‘set’ of twins to make up not just for the physically dead Abel but the spiritually dead Cain as well. . .

What difference does that make? How does that impact our salvation?
What salvation - not a hope in hell for most on the broad road - it seems only 5% are going to make it anyway as I read it some where - meanwhile have a good day - twinc

You didn’t answer my question.

Apart from curiousity what difference does it make if Cain and Abel were twins or not?
