greeting my name is Tobias and I am a cainist. Its not a big religion by terms of believers/ followers what have you, but it if fulfilling. No we do not deny The Lord, not by any means, he does exist, though his actions are skewed by man.
For Cain, murder was never his intent, he was cursed for his confusion and love of his brother Abel and caste into the land of Nod…and from that we believe that he was and is the original savior for our sins. knowing one of the most heinous and mortal ones there is.

You mean that Cain is God to you? I’ve never heard of ‘cainist’. How many of you are there?

no god per say, more like the way to god. and there are not many of us, hence the lack of knowledge of us

what could there possibly be in the story of Cain to base a religion on?

Well it was said that Cain met the lady Lilith and they bore 13 children, and those 13 wrote the story of their father. that cain made them all swear to follow the lord, but not in the same way as everyone else. it has a more martial sense to it.
That the only redemption can be paid in blood.

So do you believe human sacrifice brings even greater rewards from God than animal sacrifice? If so have you sacrificed anyone yet?

its not human sacrifice or animal…each of us draws blood and we burn all it. much like the burnt offerings in the old testament. by this we show our loyalty and devotion. blood is life, and by giving blood we show that we will give our lives to god.

Ok. So your understanding of cain comes from another book? Does it have a name?

I think it just shows you are willing to burn a little blood. Now if you killed yourselves, that would really prove what you say.

in truth i am willing to die for god. But i find the bible twisted and skewed by mans hand. the book is entitled Libre de vitae. im not sure how old my “accult” as you put it began. I was introduced to it about 6 years ago. and it has served me well enough since then

and back to my point of willing to die for God. I would, and my life style shows as such, i am willing to die for God and my country. I serve in the U.S. Army. I am an Infantryman. and a Cainist

Can you describe how you worship together or do you?

Your lifestyle says you are willing to die for Caesar, not sure about God.

Matthew 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

It seems to me that this characterization of a man’s practice of faith has little to do with objective analysis and has more in common with the ancient Roman libel that Christians must be cannibals in order to truly feast upon the body and blood of their Savior. Flawed though it may seem, there is no reason to doubt the sincerity of this man’s blood offering in service to God.

That said, the OP’s religious practice is strange to me. It is further disturbing that he does not know the history of his faith or the validity of its claims to speak with anything approaching authority. He has stated that he finds Sacred Scripture to have been somehow tainted by the hand of man but has not described how or from where he draws his standard to make this judgment. He has further to explain why it is his own humanity does not taint his judgment in the same way as it did the authors of Scripture.

Even more disturbing, it appears that his faith is anchored primarily in his own personal fulfillment rather than in a course of systematic reason. I would be pleased to be ignorant on this point, if the OP would but offer some sort of objective philosophical rationale for his faith. Absent this, it must be remarked that what it is that we are dealing with is an emotional, rather than rational, actor. This is not uncommon as any glance at the newspaper will reveal people justifying all manner of deviant activity on the mere basis of what they happen to feel at any given moment.

The manner of the OP’s practice of his faith is irrelevant. What is important are his reasons for believing in this way and not another and the assumptions that he makes in order to justify this decision.

Eating Jesus is cannibalism.

A lot of people are sincere about what they are doing, and a lot of them are also misguided.

Anyone consider whether the OP is a joke? How many of us have actually heard of this professed faith? I don’t believe the OP.

I have a nagging suspicion it might actually be a book from “Vampire the Masquerade,” the role-playing game. “Vitae” (of life) is, rather ungrammatically, that game’s vampire slang for “blood”.

And there is a sourcebook called “the Book of Lilith”, and another called the “Book of Nod.” See, in the game, Cain was the first vampire, and he met Lilith and learned magic from her in the land of Nod.

Never mind that “the land of Nod” is a poetic expression for being a wanderer without a country.

Isn’t this mentioned in the Book of Jubilees? And isn’t Lilith the the night-demoness mentioned in Isaiah?

I saw it mentioned on a satanism board, idea being Cain was scolded for bringing mere vegetables for an offering as opposed to Abel’s blood offering, so when he then sacrificed Abel’s blood he was rewarded with the Mark so no man would kill him.
