Well, well, well…we finally get to learn Bruce’s new name. He calls himself Caitlyn and will be on the cover of the July issue of Vanity Fair.
The pictures were either released early or leaked, not sure, but i must say, if i didnt know better, I’d have thought he really was a woman based on the picture.
In person, i doubt he’d fool me. Too big and he has a mans voice. What do you all think?

I think the whole Jenner/Kardashian/Kanye clan gets far too much attention. What actually is the sum total of their contribution to the human race?

I dont know but i admit I do watch their show. I dont know why they fascinate me but they do. Just like 19 Kids and Counting, which is probably going to get canceled.

Yes, I also think this… I mean, who cares?! I will still refer to him as a man, that is what God made him, so he is still a man, still has the Y in HIS DNA… this means he is man(duh?) LOL

Plus, that cover photo is HEAVILY photoshopped. lol

He is a very sick man, even if this is just a publicity stunt. He deserves our sympathy and our prayers. We should not laugh or joke at this evil. We should not promote this evil by watching his television shows, buying his magazines, books, etc…

It is a very deep confusion (or some deceptive spirit) that actually lures someone to believe that they are not living the truth about themselves until a team of surgeons and a endocrinology team renders them essentially unrecognizable.

These transitions amount to a sort of suicide. There is a thinly-veiled hatred of the self, falsely supposed by those “transitioning” to be the “past self,” that underlies these stories. I do not doubt their sincerity, but I have serious questions about the professional judgment of those who reinforce this confusion with medical and surgical interventions intended to cover up the truth about the person.

According to one interviewer, the person who became famous as Bruce Jenner said this:
“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,’ ” she told Mr. Bissinger. Bruce Jenner was always lying, she said; Caitlyn can be honest.

If he had not done this, he would have concluded that he had blown his entire life. That is so sad, particularly coming from a parent. That sounds so much like depression talking.

The person now called Caitlyn is not honest. The person now called Caitlyn is only possible because of a front that can be kept up only by tireless effort and unrelenting medication. Caitlyn is possible only by a tireless effort to “pass.” How can such an elaborate pretense be the truth about who anyone is? How can being true to yourself require self annihilation and the writing of a fantasy character to supplant it? How can a vanity be someone’s identity? The whole premise takes itself in circles. It is preposterous. How can it possibly be sustainable?

Whether you like it or not, or agree with it or not…this is an issue that is very much a part of our society and in the news today.
Many people struggle with it and we’ve only just begun to deal with it and talk about it.

That’s why he gets a lot of publicity.

He didn’t intend to, but he’s become a symbol of this issue.

He may have not been able to avoid publicity, but he chose to become a symbol of this issue. This is a very carefully orchestrated and very intentionally public process he’s going through. He gets publicity because he has decided to be public on his own terms. Whether you like it or not, that is how he chose to do this.
