So with the issue of Pope Benedict XVI’s Summorum Pontificum would it be ok for Catholics to adhere to the old liturgical year as well? Or would we have to follow the new calendar?

1. The legitimate use of the liturgical books in use in 1962 includes the right to the use of the calendar intrinsic to those liturgical books.
