So they’ll knock you out and leave you die of thirst, nice.

SAN FRANCISCO, August 28, 2008 – AB 2747, the bill sponsored the former Hemlock Society, passed the Assembly today with 42 votes – one more than the requisite 41 vote majority. Now called Compassion and Choices, the sponsor has made three unsuccessful attempts to legalize physician-assisted suicide over the last three years. Now, with AB 2747, they are trying to nibble at the edges in an attempt to lay legal groundwork for their sinister long-term goals. It is opposed by a broad coalition that includes disability rights groups, civil rights groups, Catholic Hospitals, the California Catholic Conference and many other organizations.
Call Governor Schwarzenegger and ask him to veto AB 2747 as the bill heads to his desk.
The bill is dangerous because interferes with the doctor patient relationship and adds confusion about end-of-life care. More specifically, AB 2747:

Includes removal of artificial hydration and nutrition as a refusal of life-sustaining treatment option. Refusal of life-sustaining treatments is usually intended to let the disease run its course while withdrawal of hydration and nutrition is intended to cause death.

what if we paid russia to take it and say turned our backs on the georgia thing, then threw in poland would they take it then?

seriously though if we dont feed whatever special muslim diet to admitted terrorists the american criminal liberties union(aclu) and other groups cry foul. wheres the outrage for no food or water for the mentally ill?
