"Call to persevere in virtue" ( from Sister Lucia of Fatima's book)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It has been a while since I returned to this series of threads on Sister Lucia’s book, “Calls” From the Message of Fatima. In Chapter 16, titled “The Call to persevere in virtue”, Sister wrote:

…why does the Message ask us to continue to pray the Rosary every day? Because prayer is the basis of the spiritual life. If we give up praying, we deprive ourselves of that supernatural life which comes to us from the meeting of our soul with God, a meeting which comes about in prayer.

Sister Lucia’s style of writing is simply like herself. There is a simplicity which comes across in each chapter of her book. It seems to me it could not be otherwise for Sister is sharing what she has learned from our Blessed Mother.
