I was born in 1950
…

Its been a long haul, but its been worth it, and I truly understand that the Catholic Church is right, the one TRUE CHURCH, and its where I belong…
God Bless you, RobHom. What a journey! Truly a great story.

👍 :gopray:

When my Mom was pregnant with me she and my Dad were converted and when I was born the entire family was baptised into the Catholic Church. I think because of this my parents always kinda expected I would become a religious.

…
That was the Jubillee year, 2000. I’ve never left my Shepherd’s side again.
Dear sprout,

that is a wonderful story. You have truly walked a long journey. I praise God for how he brought you back!

In Her Love,
Scott

Rob,

I just want to say

Thank You for serving your Country!

My Dad was in Vietnam. Was spit upon, had his tools stolen, and couldn’t even get a cup of coffee on his flight home (I learned about this when Dad heard of the soldiers returning from Desert Storm being served Champagne). My Dad has been and always will be my hero, God rest his soul.
Thank you as well, and spauline…

Yes God will rest his soul. I will remember him in my prayers today. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten!!

I would ask a favor of all who read this… When you say your prayers… remember the troops, all of them, the survivors of past wars…all who answered the call to duty. Many have passed on and many still live, and many of the living still wrestle with demons in their memories of those times in war. Ask St. Michael the Archangel to defend them in their battles. I do often.

I, as well as other older Veterans are very happy to see the open and good response of the public at large these days…and I pray that our nation does not change that. Things would have been so much different for so many of us back then when we came home.

Don’t just support the Troops, HONOR them.

Dear RobHom,

You’re welcome, and, yes, I will pray for and honor our troops, as I give you and your father great honor as well for fighting to defend our freedom.

Again, may God Bless you and all troops and veterans.
